Leonard Joel Fitout, Hawthorn

Iconic auction house Leonard Joel signed on as a tenant at our Oxley Road property, and Cubo Projects successfully won the tender to complete the Fitout works. Over 2,000 sqm of internal office space was stripped back to its shell, the existing concrete floors were retained and polished, the existing structure along with existing mechanical services were left exposed and upgraded. The design, by renowned design firm Studio Doherty, referenced the history of high-end auction houses, with the use of a rich colour pallete, forms and materials - creating a moody and intimate interior. External upgrade works were competed also, with new window openings cut into the existing structure to allow more natural light, as well as a full external repaint and an upgraded, wider main entry lobby.
